High-Level Project Summary
We developed a two player interactive highly collaborative game where the player's objective is to keep the avatar alive. It solves the challenge because not many games, media, and movies focus on the health risks of space travel. Our game's purpose is to educate middle schoolers in a fun way. It is important because it can inspire our younger generation to work towards finding solutions towards radiation, delayed communication, and all other challenges astronauts face.

Detailed Project Description
It takes the players on the journey from Earth to Mars and back. The players needs to stay alive on the journey to Mars and once the players lands on Mars they need to conduct research, finish construction of the living units, and grow plants. The game is like a simulation of the Mars One mission. It is a highly interactive game that encourages collaboration due to our two player system. We hope to inspire our younger generation to find solutions to the challenges astronauts face. We used github, Pycharm, VScode.

Hackathon Journey
We learned how our individual skills and knowledge came together to form a product. We learned the importance of having a feasible plan. We're interested in space and wanted to combine our creativity and technical skills to develop a game. We held several planning sessions, mapped out our concepts before starting, assigned each member a different role. We worked together to help each other out.
