ORS

High-Level Project Summary

There are many experiments that are held to learn more about the sun as well as spacecraft that are sent into space to reveal its secrets. The problem is that people's awareness and understanding of the importance of these experiences and efforts is not great and almost non-existent. By using ORS in various public places, schools and universities, an integrated learning experience will be provided which will increase people's awareness and understanding of the importance of these spacecraft and the data obtained and how they affect us as human beings in all aspects of our lives.

Detailed Project Description

ORS or operation revive sun is a project we made ourselves as you can understand from its name to help people enhance their understanding and increase their knowledge about the sun and spacecraft and raise their awareness in a fast way that their brain can easily absorb.

The entire project will be in a form of an astronaut robot, it will be suitable for all groups and ages, as it is divided into two basic programs: one for the children and the other for adults.

The ORS robot provides users with various information collected from missions and spacecraft sent to the sun, and then explains the importance of this information to humanity. This information includes understanding and forecasting space weather, which determines how the Earth responds to the changing sun.

ORS will be present in public places, schools, universities, and more. It works by inserting a coin into it, then the user enters his/her age so that the robot can choose the appropriate program for him/her. There are two programs on which the robot has been programmed, one for children and the other for adults, where the method of presentation and the media that are presented, as well as the simplicity and complexity of the information between the two programs, differ.

Although there are two different programs, both groups will be able to live an integrated learning experience with different images, sounds and graphs. ORS will also be provided with the option of mixed reality headset, which will add more fun and suspense to the learning process.

At the end of each experience, the user can get a booklet related to augmented reality (AR) technology, which can be tested using the ORS app. .

To encourage a user to try our robot, the money that will be collected will return to a charitable work that the user chooses from the list that will be presented to him/her after inserting the coin.

The robot will be linked to the application and its information will be constantly updated from the information provided by NASA on its various sites.

Services provided by the app:

1- It provides a constantly updated information and data directly from NASA's websites.

2-The booklet and the augmented reality (AR) technology:

After experiencing the robot, the user will get an optional unique booklet. By using the phone or any other tablet devise he/she can scan the photos or the headlines in this booklet. Then different images, videos and websites will appear on the screen to provide more information and data.

3-Accumulating points:

Users can collect points by solving the questions in the app to test their knowledge. These points will be used as money to shop from specific brands, which will encourage the public to learn more about the topic.

Space Agency Data

The space agency data will programmed in the robot's AI and the application so it can be presented to the public in a simple and easy way with different images and sounds.

Hackathon Journey

It was a fun and exciting experience. Thanks to this opportunity, we were able to put together a great team that shared its full potential to find a solution to the problem we had chosen.

This experience developed many of our skills such as problem solving skill and teamwork skill. We were also able to learn a lot of information about NASA's efforts to reveal the secrets of the sun and how this information and data obtained from missions and spacecraft have a significant impact on humans in all aspects of life.

The lack of knowledge of such these important things among societies was a motivate for our team to search for a solution that enable individuals to have a new experience that increases their awareness in a fun and easy way

One of the first challenges faced by the team is to identify the idea in a short time. With many minds, there are many suggestions and opinions about the final idea that will be adopted. We have solved this challenge by taking an idea from each member of the team so that we have the final idea in a time So short . It is worth noting that this mixing of ideas played a major role in exchanging experiences. The second difficulty is communication between team members, and we have solved this problem by setting certain times to meet with everyone's agreement

we all would like to thank Dr. Sultan Alyahyai for inspiring us to participate in this wonderful challenge and to be a part of this unique and special event.
