High-Level Project Summary
Space_Cruiserzz is a website which is developed to provide information about Heliophysics and its missions. It is an interactive visualization tool. It comprises of an Augmented Reality [AR] version of the entire solar system, some fun games, etc. The AR version gives the user the ability to explore the entire solar system, its planets and some of the missions launched such as the Parker Solar Probe, some asteroids 3D view, etc. The challenge "Unlocking the Secrets of the Sun" asks for spreading awareness and curiosity among the general public about the Sun and the missions launched to explore the Sun. Our solution tries to invoke curiosity about the sun in the future generation.

Detailed Project Description
How we addressed the challenge?
The core of our website is to develop a method to improve public awareness and understanding of the missions launched to explore the sun and how the valuable data they provide impacts the way we live, work, and play. The existing websites cover the content regarding the topic but there are multiple portals for each which need to be searched individually thus leading to a tedious time consuming search. The website is made to attract people of all ages.
The importance of this project is that it is self contained. However, our website portrays only some of the features to make it interactive.
Our website consists of 4 features:
- Eyes on Solar System
- Games
- Videos
- News
Eyes on Solar System
It is an augmented view of the solar system by NASA which helps people get a 360 degree view of the
- entire solar system
- its planets
- some known asteroids
- some spacecrafts that are orbiting the planets
This feature attracts people into exploring the solar system, and get the visual idea of how various elements exist in the outer space.
Games
Learning is made simple through interactive gaming techniques.
Videos
Concepts seem more interesting and easy to understand with a visual explanation rather than a traditional approach. We have included videos related to Heliophysics and the missions carried out to discover more about the sun.
News
We have provided a section for the latest news about the cosmic world, so that users can be up-to-date with the current affairs.
Our website's goal is to bring in all the available resources about the heliophysics into a single platform, to make it easily accessible to the public and reduce the search time.
How we developed This Project
We have created a static website using scripting languages such as HTML and CSS. The publishing of this website is done via W3schools platform.
The content we have used in this website is from the various available data on the internet.
Our Project Demo can be accessed here:

How we would like to improvise our Solution?
This website can be improvised by adding more information, games, article , papers and videos in a creative and interactive way, thus creating passion about the Universe among future generation. Given an opportunity in future we would like to bring up an augmented reality website version comprising of the sun and the missions launched to study the sun, which will give the users a visual so as to how the spacecrafts move collect data about the sun. Also we would like to launch an app version of the same.
Space Agency Data
Making use of Space Agency Data
During our research for the information regarding heliophysics, we observed that we had to search in various portals and most of them had common content portrayed in different ways, thus making it difficult to find out something new every time.
Hence we came up with a solution which comprises of all kinds of information about the topic in one particular platform to reduce the search time.
The links are mentioned in the resource section.
Hackathon Journey
It has been a really wonderful journey, researching and understanding about heliophysics. Given the situation of COVID, we were able to collaborate and complete the hackathon using the google platform. We would like to thank the NASA space Apps 2021 for giving us this opportunity to showcase our talents.
