Science-meets-art

High-Level Project Summary

We used our challenge, Webb origami design challenge to demonstrate to our audience the strong relation between science and art, explain to them how can the union between these two fields develop different fields, researches ... in the future, creating a website of our project, whe they can watch a video of us building the James Webb space telescope using the art of origami, know more about our team, our project and science & art , James telescope, participate in the competition build your JWST, after they get inspiring from us, show us their ARTWORKS, wheRE the winners will provide of a series of workshops about science -meets-art and to know people who work in these two fields together .

Detailed Project Description

The solutions are very important in our project we find a very amazing solution building a website and a telescope and a challenge for the website the user will interact with the website and he will participate in the challenge because we have to put the user in the situation and also building the JWST make the user convinced that there is a strong relationship between the science & art and this project will benefit positively in the world because the world will be convinced that there is a relationship and this will create the creativity in the world and grow a lot of fields that they related to science & art and for the tools, we used vs code and HTML and CSS and js and IBM Watson assistant and google form and for building the telescope we used glue and cardboard

Space Agency Data

We used our challenge, Webb origami design challenge to demonstrate to our audience the strong relation between science and art, explain to them how can the union between these two fields develop different fields, researches ... in the future, creating a website of our project, wheRE they can watch a video of us building the James Webb space telescope using the art of origami, know more about our team, our project and science & art , James telescope, participate in the competition build your JWST, after they get inspiring from us, show us their ARTWORKS, wheRE the winners will provide of a series of

pace agencies open data help us to find and apply our challenge's solution through two main information:

•The structure of JWST given bye NASA .

•Reliance of space agencies on using Origami to design the telescopes before building them

Hackathon Journey

*In order to solve the problem of "the relationship between art and science" , our team created a model of JWST using Origami , as well as a website that contains information about the telescope, an article , and a competition which aims to convince people that science & art are overlapped through the concept of practice. and we are interested in science and art so we found it in an occasion to demonstrate our creativity

*we learned from NASA space apps hackathon ,how to work in a team , and work well under pressure and in a short time

and it was a great experience ,it was a good experience in Space Apps we learn many things like how science help art and relation between them and to demonstrate that we create a website and building JWST by origami

*we would like to thanks all the members of cosmos artists, who try hard on this project and the community of space app

*we faced all the diffuclties by the work on team and the patience

References

We used a lot of things like vscode and HTML and CSS and JS TO BUILD THE WEBSITE and IBM Watson Assistant to create the chatbot and Google form to build the form

and also we used cardboard and glue to build JWST
