High-Level Project Summary
The Hanan Origami Space project consists of making an origami structure of the James Webb telescope through which students of all ages can learn kinesthetically what this new telescope is all about. This is important because the students do not learn by classical methods such as reading or audiovisuals, but learn by doing. The project uses very inexpensive materials within the reach of any student in the world as it aims to be a tool for the democratization of knowledge and to introduce everyone to the knowledge of space science.

Detailed Project Description
- Origami Group Perú.
- Webb Origami Design Challenge.
What inspired your team to choose this challenge?
- In the group we have been doing origami for a long time, becoming our passion and something that is part of us, so taking on this new challenge fills us with new expectations as a group.
- Our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Origami-Group-Per%C3%BA-114671120400375
The Project is called Hanan Origami Space
What problem does it solve?
- The project is a response to the lack of reception of students with different learning styles, the project would help those children with visual-Kinesthetic learning, introducing them in a more fun way to the world of science, generating a passion for topics related to science and technology careers.
- Students with visual-Kinesthetic learning will have a way of learning more in line with their learning style, and no matter how much money you have, you will be able to carry out our project, which makes it an opportunity to democratize knowledge for everyone.
How does it work?
- We contacted the schools, we told them about the workshop, we provided the origami plans and we did the origami together with the students.
- The pages of the European space agency, Canadian and NASA's own gave us real and reliable information about what parts make up the James Webb and how it was built.
- We currently live in a world where interest in science is being lost and those who do have it are failing due to lack of resources, perhaps if we achieve through this project to democratize science and make space sciences reach everyone, in the future we would have passionate young people for space sciences and who knows if one day one of these young people through origami were to explain much more complex things which we still did not imagine, ¡It's time to give everyone the opportunity, because knowledge can come from everywhere, to open our horizons and see how James Webb through our space history to be better and shape the future of space exploration!

Hackathon Journey
How would you describe your experience with Space Apps?
It has been extraordinary to share ideas with people from other countries that face problems similar to ours, the talks they have given us have been very useful to raise ideas on how to solve problems in our country and contribute to its development.
What have you learned?
We have learned the value of teamwork, to better relate to each other and that there is no challenge that with a little work and good will cannot be overcome.
What inspired your team to choose this challenge?
As an organization and as a group we have been doing origami for more than a year, this has been an opportunity to show ourselves where we are in relation to the whole world and challenge ourselves to overcome our limits and barriers.
What was your approach to developing this project?
We want to serve and achieve through origami (our passion) solutions that will make this a more equitable and inclusive world where we can all have access to science from the various learning styles that exist.
How did your team resolve setbacks and challenges?
With a lot of creativity and teamwork.
Is there someone you would like to thank and why?
To all the people who have accompanied Origami Group Peru throughout its trajectory as an organization and to gino alejandro our godfather who gave us the idea to form this organization that has given us so many beautiful experiences and has taught us to serve our society through of our passion for origami.
