High-Level Project Summary
Addressing the problem of impact on climate due to non-renewable energy consumption and development in renewable energy sector people have started to move from fuel based generators to solar panels for clean energy. Our vision to address this problem is to create a mobile application which helps people who are enthusiastic about solar panel or are current users of it to learn more. With this project we really want to impact and give back to our community. We are aiming to get a self?reliant ecosystem in villages like in agriculture fields, schools, homes etc. which can be an example and building block & example for renewable energy sector in India, furthering the cause.

Detailed Project Description
We are building our mobile application using Flutter framework and dart programming language, this will help us to make the application available for people using different platforms like ios , windows & android. We have established 1 login methods one for google user. This will help track and address different problem and also make our application more secure. The objectives which we will be achieving in hackathon and for later includes: 1)To get average KW-hr/m^2/days data for their current location and also shows historic data of different parameters related to climate and energy in user’s region. 2)Shows the working and information regarding solar panels which will help people who want to know about solar panels or are planning to install one. 3) To make available files containing historic data for download. 4)Features to help them calculate total energy consumption of their homes and financial incentives for installing a solar panel. This will help them in deciding on solar panels and how much area of it.
Space Agency Data
We have used data on solar downward irradiance data from NASA's power website .
we are also trying to use precipitation and humidity data.
Hackathon Journey
Well me and my team are all 1st year student and this is our first hackathon. It was really exciting journey as we learned new programming languages and concepts of management, project architecture, how to work in teams.
Why we chose this problem is because our generation have been witness to the climate change transitioning from normal condition to worsening condition with unexpected rainfall, floods in major cities, regular bush fires, and rise in water levels and many more.
What we have observed is that pollution by non-renewable energy have contributed heavily to this problem and the only solution to it is to transition from them to renewable energy sources as it contribute negligible to pollution are free of cost and also makes sector self-reliant.
Well within given objective it was given that the data and application should be available to everyone on every platform so we chose Flutter.
Regarding setbacks and challenges we conducted meetings 3 times in a day addressing problems and solving errors and discussing course of action and taking frequent follow ups. We would really like to thank our college SRM and Nasa space app for conducting this hackathon , this has help us grow and understand the field more extensively.
References
we have used VScode, android studio, flutter and dart SDK.
and for reffrences we have used flutter official documentation.
