“Sun Fountain Map”
A tool for the new and experienced user of solar panels
Solar energy has been used throughout history in different ways, mainly to create fire, but as technology progressed, from the discovery of the photovoltaic effect, to the first functional selenium cell, it was given other applications.
One of the great problems that exist in the world is environmental pollution from the use of non-renewable energy. Because of this, many innovators looked for alternatives to acquire clean energy, one of these and with greater accessibility for the common citizen, is solar energy, allowing them to obtain clean energy without having to depend on a power plant or on a land that is too large to put generators, such as wind power or having a significant water flow as required by hydroelectric power. But this energy depends a lot on climatic changes and on the amount of sunlight that the area in which the person wishes to place the solar panels receives, in turn, reading the data provided by many internet pages can be a bit confusing or complicated for the common citizen who has no prior knowledge of meteorology or energy performance, that is why our goal is that people who want to switch to clean energy, can access this data and more, in a simple and easy way reading that can clear up any doubts or inconveniences that they may have.
Taking as inspiration the problem of a user to be able to use the tools provided by NASA and the need of another user with respect to being able to show real estate clients about the historical light that the area has to live We have decided to create this application to facilitate the obtaining of information provided by the satellites in a simple and punctual way according to the area in which they are, as well as to help new users without previous experience in the use of solar radiation parameters and electrical accounting delivered by solar panels
Our application is oriented for the use of the interested party who is just starting to use solar panels, providing them with the tools, data, advice and information necessary for everything they need; From tips of which panels you can use, the amount you will require according to the energy expenditure you have in your home, which the application will provide you with a calculator that will help you to know specifically that expense. What is the best place to locate them and obtain a higher performance, in turn you will obtain all the information for their installation and maintenance, from the materials and tools, as well as where to buy them, so that the user can do it himself or also, if not encouraged, information from trained personnel for the installation. In the same way, the already experienced user will also be able to take advantage of the use of the application, from a special tab where they can access information on solar irradiation and weather conditions, obtaining the data from the pages NASA POWER web Portal, JAXA Himawari Monitor (P-Tree), JASMES Portal y Earth-graphy, so that you can compare the data that the user obtains with that of the pages and know if the performance of your panels is in conditions.

Our team decided to take this challenge, because we felt that we would learn a lot about renewable energy and that we would be able to convey how beneficial it can be for us and for the planet.
We have managed to solve the setbacks and challenges thanks to the great teamwork and the good coordination to work on this project.
