High-Level Project Summary
SummaryThe Earth intercepts 10 thousands more power from solar energy than the planets uses. Moreover, solar power is a renewable source of energy, that does not produce greenhouse gases. The aim of solar panels is to convert solar energy to other type of energies. Such technological gadgets structured in N and P-type silicon layers basically use their charged electrons to produce power. There is nothing to get warn out or used up, consequently solar panels last for decades. So what‘s stopping us to be completely reliant on solar power? Realistically, solar energy in unevenly distributed across the planet. Our app will assist clients on making effective purchase decisions.

Detailed Project Description
How we addressed this challenge
Project summary:
Our Project consists of a mobile application named Photonics, which is used to collect data about solar energy capacities in different areas and suitable type of panels respectively. The users are meant to be specific clients interested in solar power establishments.
Importance of this project
In a statistics review of global energy from 2020, BP conducted that world has got enough fossil fuels to satisfy our needs for another 50 years. Therefore, renewable solar energy is ultimately approached . Although, solar panels momentarily only convert up to 40% of sunlight to electricity, it is possible to power the entire world with this power.
It is necessary for all investors to precisely identify the most efficient landscape to establish solar panels according to parameters such as: temperature, humidity, height, surface etc. Additionally, clients should know which type of panels is more suitable to their case. Otherwise it will be difficult to reach our goal of a renewable energy using world.
In this project, we used crowdsourced data to supply users with a detailed prescription of solar power use and importance. Currently, we are working on parameters, but later on we will connect the information of each user along with their purchase to a database.
Benefits of this project
-Statistical data for decision making.
-Nasa researchers can have a proper spectrum of solar panels‘ establishments and usage.
-Real time validation of data.
-An offline secure community. (Each users credentials are not observed by other users)
Tool/Coding languages/Software used:
Java

Hackathon Journey
Our experience in this challenge was remarkable. During this time we obtained lots of scientific knowledge and soft skills. It helped us develop a better critical thinking and also greater communication skills. Working as a team definitely has got its own challenges, but it is the most efficient way to come to a product. Throughout these three days full of work I personally learnt more about coding and app designing, whereas my team members worked on their soft skills. We divided our work in individual parts. However, we were there to resolve each others' setbacks and also find the most efficient solution. Certainly, it was challenging, especially the coding part, but we tried to make the best use of data and knowledge we could find. I would like to thank both my teammates for being responsible and taking this challenge seriously.
