We choose you are my sunshine project and we devided it into 3 layers
First one is the standard layer which has the surfaces of earth with a lader to control the zoom in and out
If you swipe left you'll find a space to insert the dimensions needed to give you details.
Once you type latitude and longitude desired as well as the start and end date which is not supposed to be the same as this year then hit view stats. All the numbers and details you need to know will appear to you. Some more information such as wind and humidity could be found on the buttons on the left.
The second layer and the third layer will show you the entire globe both flat and round. The position is flexible to your desire.
This application will allow any user to seek information and data about the solar system from the comfort of his own home.
We hope to achieve an easy application accessible for everyone . In order to develop this application we used Flutter to make it accessible on all platforms. We used other tools like adobe xd and photoshop too.
The space data sets we used is from the "POWER" the web portal provided by NASA. This web portal provided us with all the information we needed to accomplish our project. such as the components of the three layers our project is based on (The 'POWER Single Point Data Access' , The ' POWER Global Downloads' widget and the 'POWR Layer List' widget) and also the suitable mathematical formulas to cover the analytics as well as the users that our application can benefit from also known as "market research" . We used other portals such as JAXA Himawari Monitor(P-Tree), JASMES portal , G-portal , Earth-graphy .
All those portals helped us to get the right information for our API update.
Our journey wasamazing. As a team, this experience brought us closer to each other. The experience helped us develop a sense of teamwork with the right coordination and task dispatching. As a young individual, it helped me develop some social skills by getting to know other contestants, some public speaking skills through the pitch presentation and some hard skills such as video editing and programming skills. We choose the "you are my sunshine" project because we saw that it is very much needed in the daily life of citizens and it will raise awareness about our globe in a way that will help our planet and save it. We dedicated much time and energy to develop this project. Each and every problem we faced we dealt with it as a team which helped us learn and develop a good application that can be used easily by anyone. We would like to thank the team behind this challenge for giving us this amazing opportunity to develop ourselves and also thank all the team members for the huge efforts.

This project has been submitted for consideration during the Judging process.
NASA produces a variety of surface solar and meteorological data parameters that are useful to commercial renewable energy and sustainable building ventures, but this information is not easily accessible to the typical homeowner. Your challenge is to develop a mobile application to access the information on NASA’s Prediction of Worldwide renewable Energy Resources (POWER) web services portal and provide useful information about sunshine to the general public.
