Space Apps 2021 with Hacker's Tribe Foundation

Hacker's Tribe Foundation is joining the NASA Space Apps Challenge for the second time to host their 36 hours virtual Hackathon from October 2 (10 am IST) - October 3rd (10 PM IST)! We are so excited to host both mentors and students at this virtual event. To prepare for Space Apps and ensure that the students gain the absolute most from this experience, we'd be hosting additional boot camps to introduce numerous technical topics. The boot camp is scheduled to take place in September.

We hope Space Apps Challenge will be an opportunity for everyone to gain some exposure to a tool or skill they may not be familiar with, and to connect with someone awesome.

About Hacker's Tribe Foundation

Hacker's Tribe Foundation is a Section-8 registered Non-Profit. We are working towards educating students across Education Institutions (both School & College) and Working Professionals on the United Nation's 17 Sustainable Development Goals via various initiatives under our Umbrella - Hackathons, Sessions & Workshops, and soon to be launched E-Learning courses. We aim to:

  • Achieve Collaboration that is Inclusive and Agile,
  • Provide Exposure & Facilitate Incubation, and
  • Accelerate the speed of innovation and problem-solving skills via our CIaaS model.

We also carry out in-house R & D initiatives owing to our varied experience in numerous technologies and disciplines. These include "projects" in Data Science, AI, and Marketing while keeping the Agile methodology in mind. Each of them is designed around either a use-case that we're integrating internally or for external entities.

As one of the youngest countries in the world — 42 per cent of India’s population is composed of people aged between 15-35 years; in the next 30 years, this figure will reach 55 per cent — our youth must be empowered to create business solutions that are not detrimental to the environment. India is likely to have a GDP of USD 4 trillion and a population of 1.5 billion by 2030. This will lead to a corresponding increase in demand for critical resources such as coal and oil, as well as an increase in greenhouse gas emissions. So for us at Hacker's Tribe Foundation, we hope to help foster innovation and push the mass public, especially the youth to work towards Social Entrepreneurship.
