Now in its 10th year, NASA Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, entrepreneurs, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with the NASA’s free and open data to creatively address real-world problems on Earth and in space. The NASA International Space Apps Challenge 2020(a 48-hour global hackathon) was held on October 2-4, in which more than 26,000 participants, from over 150 countries created more than 2,300 solutions for challenges.So to make the 2021 hackathon successful.
At NPR, we believe that given the right push, guidance and infrastructure, every student can reach beyond himself to become a super achiever ! That is why, right from reception, this group of institutions has added more and more facilities for excellence to flower not just in education but in all walks of life.
In sports, we offer one of the biggest cricketing lawns and coaching among universities. We have dedicated labs for every stream of subject be it in Engineering, Polytechnic or the arts. NPR takes pride in saying that its computer student ratio is one of the best in India.
Offering the right guidance is another key factor for excellence. We invite some of the best science, technology people to come and give lectures. Each student is empowered with soft skills in presentation and language to become an all-round personality. Continuous guidance is offered at every level of learning. Mostly, we believe discipline itself is a great teacher and we build this in every student. Q: Do I need to live in Dindigul or be from the area to participate?
A: No, the challenge is all virtual, it does not matter from where you participate.But if you are from Dindigul it would be good.
Q: How many people can be part of our team?
A: Typical Space Apps teams have 2-6 participants (the limit is 6 members per team). Space Apps Challenge is all about collaboration.
Q: Do I need a team before registration?
A: No, you can find a team during the event. Finding a team before the event is encouraged
