Welcome to 2021 NASA International Space Apps Challenge Hackathon-Greater Huntsville Regional Event! Registration is open now... Prizes for winners include cash and cool tech devices from our generous sponsors! Participants also get many free offers from the global collaborators!
Now in its 10th year, NASA Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, entrepreneurs, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with the NASA’s free and open data to creatively address real-world problems on Earth and in space. Since its inception in 2012, NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge has engaged 150,000+ people from 150+ countries to build innovative solutions to challenges we face. Space Apps is a NASA-led global initiative and the largest hackathon organized in collaboration with universities, schools, and industries. 2021 NASA International Space Apps Challenge will be coming to you on October 2-3, 2021 in a virtual setting.
The North America-Greater Huntsville Regional event will be hosted at Huntsville, AL--the Nation's famous "Rocket City", home of NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and numerous world-leading aerospace and high tech industries.

Alabama A&M University is proud to be the local host again for the NASA Space Apps Challenge. The 2020 NASA Space Apps Challenge was AAMU's first chance to serve as the host, where we gave out over $5000.00 in cash prizes and over $1000.00 in tech gadgets as door prizes and rewards. Again we are excited to serve as this year's host and hope to surpass our prize give-aways from last year.

Now we are seeking sponsors and volunteers to support this event. Please contact us via ed.pearson@aamu.edu if you like to help. Thank you!
