Welcome Space Enthusiasts!

On behalf of the National Space Science Agency in the Kingdom of Bahrain, we are very excited that you have decided to participate in this year’s Virtual Space Apps Challenge.
The 2021 Space Apps Challenge is quickly approaching. Be sure to register for NASA’s 10th annual (and all virtual!) hackathon on October 2nd-3rd.
Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.
Space Apps is for everyone! This includes those who have never “hacked’ before! All passionate problem solvers are encouraged to join - students, experts, engineers, makers, artists, and storytellers. While some of our challenges are technical, others ask you to use your artistic skills, your business acumen, and your historical imaginations!
In other words, you do not need to be a coder or data expert to be part of Space Apps. In fact, the most diverse teams are often the most successful.
Participation is FREE of charge and you will need to sign up individually or form a team of 2-5 people.
We look forward to seeing both returning & new participants during this year’s NASA International Space Apps Challenge!
