Welcome to this Scotland-wide Space Apps Challenge event page! Supported by the Scottish Space Leadership Council and enabled by the University of Edinburgh.
We are super excited to welcome solution providers and challenge fighters to this event and hope you're highly successful in October.
The committee behind the scenes includes:
- Kristina Tamane - University of Edinburgh/Scottish Space Leadership Council
- Sue Kee - AAC Clyde Space
- Matjaz Vidmar - University of Edinburgh
- Awais Munawar - National Manufacturing Institute Scotland
- Tom Mortimer - Bayes Centre, University of Edinburgh
- Luke Vanstone - Science Technology Facilities Council/Higgs Centre for Innovation
We would also like to thank the whole of the Scottish space sector for their support and particularly NatureScot for providing some truly awesome data sets.
This event aims to show some real impact right here in Scotland that can hopefully be scaled globally. We have secured some data sets that we'd welcome event participants to use to show what Scotland can do globally.
So if you have an awesome idea - get a team together and join Space Apps for this 10th event. Check out the challenges here:https://2021.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges/
If you need any help - let the team know and we'll sort you out.
Our participation in this event is a direct outcome of theSustainable Space Challenges work which started in 2021 and continues now.
Let the games begin!
