The NASA Space Apps competition is a competition that aims to combine science and technology in order to find solutions to Earth and space problems.
NASA has organized it since 2012, and it started in Egypt in 2015 at Cairo University, and currently, it is present in more than other universities and is present in more than 150 countries worldwide.
In the first year (2015), an Egyptian team qualified and took first place in the world. Currently, the team members are studying for a NASA grant in the United States.
We will start organizing it for the first time at Menoufia University.
The competition consists of stages
The camp will be 6 sessions on different topics, including the
Data Science
Mobile App Development
Web App Development
In order for us to appreciate in a simple way, we know the students from the literary, medical and science colleges participating in the competition about these fields
And the simple entrances that they may need at the time of thinking about solutions to the problems at hand
This is other than the Sessions, which understands the common people about the details of the competition itself and prepares people for the actual competition
After the Camp, the Hackathon will take place for 48 hours, in which a group of teams will compete to solve a set of problems in different areas
And NASA is the one who determines these problems on the day of the Hackathon to ensure fairness between all teams in the competition
