We created artfully illuminated asteroids because we love art and love Lucy. And our challenge is how we tell the story of Lucy and the ship's identity as a painting to create ideas and imaginations to create this work.

Detailed Project Description

We have created more works of art about Lucy following its journey. This artwork that we created using Procreate on iPad is a visual representation of Lucy's journey to Jupiter. Surrounded by large and small asteroids.

Space Agency Data

We are inspired by the galleries on the NASA website, so we use them to make our own edits.

Hackathon Journey

We chose this challenge because we followed the news of Lucy's release up to the mission. which is a very wonderful thing for us So we want to be a part of Lucy's activities and want to study Lucy more closely.

Artfully Illuminated Asteroids

NASA’s Lucy Mission to the Trojan asteroids will survey eight asteroids in six independent orbits around the Sun to help unravel the history of the solar system. Your challenge is to illustrate the diversity Lucy will explore by creating a work of art in the medium of your choice, including, but not limited to painting, drawing, pottery, sculpture, 2D or 3D computer-generated products, music, film/video, written or spoken word, dance, or textile.
