LUCY MISSION

High-Level Project Summary

We planned and established framework to accomplish the requirement by the Nasa Space App. We searched informations, discuss and prepare scripts for the preliminary project. We continue to learn new knowledge on Trojan asteroids instead of work on the asteroids belt.

Detailed Project Description

We found the difficulties of finding the spacecraft Unity assets for doing games and are new to this field. Therefore we switch our topic to Artfully Illuminated Asteroids which is an interesting topic to implement accordingly. We add the coding part on the launch of spacecraft blast off into the space by using Scratch. Taken video of toy Lisa astronaut and remove it background. Video editing was done in software JianYing and Wonder Filmore9. We hope to achieve more skills in other areas such as Python and Unity games.

Space Agency Data

We benefit greatly from the sources of data.nasa.gov, open source data from Space App and other agencies information in these few days. We also learned that we must equip ourselves more in diversity of skills and knowledge to prepare for coming years challenge in Nasa Space App. The workshops that provided by the region mentors has inspired us to learn and to know more.

Hackathon Journey

We learned that Lucy Mission is going to explore the Trojan asteroids swarm in Jupiter orbit which will be new knowledge to us in the future. We also get to know the history of Solar Systems which has formed all the planets and asteroids in the universe. We feel so thankful for all the team of Lucy Mission that they had worked so hard to build up the spacecraft equipment and launch Lucy Mission to explore the Trojan asteroids. It is amazing work! We are so excited to hear and learn more about the space outside from our Earth.
