High-Level Project Summary
The Lucy Mission is the first study involving trojan asteroids. These asteroids are sources of research due to their possible connection with the formation of our solar system. Understanding the importance of this mission for understand the universe and the emergence of everything, the Rocket team decided to use the mission as the basis for our project: The creation of a platform/website to provide 2D animations about a fictional universe of the Lucy mission and her adventures in space, seeking to bring up-to-date information and updates on the mission's progress to all audiences as an easy and practical teaching methodology.

Detailed Project Description
Lucy Mission is the first study involving Trojans asteroids. These asteroids are sources of research due to their possible connection with the formation of our solar system. The mission is called Lucy because of Lucy's skeleton, the oldest human skeleton ever found and which served as the basis for understanding how human evolution, and like Lucy, this mission, which will take place in October, will collect data and provide us with information about these asteroids, in support of research into the formation of our solar system..
Animations have been gaining more and more space in different situations, whether serving as a support or as a way to convey a teaching. Over the years, the art of cartoons is no longer just a form of entertainment and has become responsible for assisting in various trades, such as creating animations for advertising, marketing, vignettes, corporate visual identity, among others. Animation also becomes a way to convey a message in a more impactful and subjective way. Films such as Coco and Spirited Away Chihiro, despite being children's productions, bring complex messages about death and the maturation process, respectively, and captivate us by the simple way of approaching delicate themes that manages to capture the public's attention to these messages unconsciously. Aiming at the ease of transmitting messages and content, animation has also been used as a teaching methodology for young people, using existing designs that can capture the attention of young people and stimulate our brain to reflect. As an example, we can mention the videos that teach about colors, children's songs and colorful animations that catch the attention of children and young people and provoke the learning reaction.
Understanding the importance of this mission for understand the universe and the emergence of everything, the Rocket team decided to use the mission as the basis for our project: The creation of a platform/site to provide 2D animations about a fictional universe of the Lucy mission and her adventures in space, seeking to bring up-to-date information and updates on the mission's progress to all audiences as an easy and practical teaching methodology.

Lucy's Journey:

Space Agency Data
We used various news clippings provided by the NASA websites as well as the Lucy Mission home page. The were crucial to elaborate and ilustrate our project plan.
We all, here on Rocket, love space and love to learn about space. A mission like Lucy's is unprecedented, and has the potential to unravel so much new information. WE were more than glad to expand on this and atempt to write a project for a short film involving our new favorite satellite. WE wish Lucy all the luck to conclude her journey.

Hackathon Journey
This was one of the most fun and challenging events our team has ever participated in. This was our first Hackaton and we are eager to part take on the next edition also!
The challenge provided us with so much new information about space and it's mysteries, the challenge to illustrate Lucy's journey to uncover them imediatly called to us. We love space and mysteries, so it was only natural.
We tackled the challenge head on, using the knowledge we already had while also learning new stuff.
The challenge taught us that we are capable of doing anything, and gave us the experience to make it possible for us to finish it in time.
References
We use Adobe programs: After Effects, Animate, Premiere, and Media Encoder to make 2d animation and pitch presentation video. For the creation of the site we used the Wix tool that enabled us this site more dynamic and the media used were from the NASA database and the domain's own website. For mission research we use the NASA website itself that provides detailed information about the mission.
