High-Level Project Summary
We have developed 3Ds renders of the Trojan asteroids and Lucy spacecraft. We showed different possibilities the spacecraft can do while on it's mission. Our project allows the viewer to be immersed into the limitless possibilities of what the spacecraft can do for us.

Detailed Project Description
Our project opens up the possibilities of what Lucy can do. The Trojan asteroids holds clues to deciphering the history of the solar system and if Lucy is able to get this information our knowledge of planetary origins and the formation of our solar system will evolve. One thing we hope to achieve with this project is showing how groundbreaking the Lucy mission is. One benefit we hope is that people do more research on the Lucy mission. We used Blender to create and digitally edit our 3D renders.
Space Agency Data
We were inspired by the Bennu asteroid and its potential of being connected to the creation of earth. We were also inspired by the Lucy mission.
Hackathon Journey
We feel like the experience was good even though we didn't do too much due to being virtual. We learned about the Lucy mission and Bennu asteroid. What really inspired us was the Lucy mission due to the potential advancements that can be made. We also find space itself and its limitless possibilities super cool. We approached our 3D renders by plotting out different scenarios to see what Lucy would do. One setback we had was getting the whole team together and we resolved it by working overtime.
