"CovTrack" is developed to deal with COVID-19 cases rising day by day. It is an app that track your real-time location and movement by using GPS. The tracking is accompanied by the time counting to record your outing duration. It will then calculate your risk of being infected by COVID-19 base on the time you spent outside. Due to its time counting characteristics,it reminds public to reduce time spent outdoor. By then, public will be reminded by "CovTrack" to return home to reduce their risk of being infected. This is really important as public is getting less sensitive to the pandemic. We hope that public will pay attention to COVID-19 once again and take their responsibility to solve it.

"CovTrack" is an app that track your real time location and movement with the help of GPS. The tracking will accompanied by time counting to record your outing duration. The user will required to fill their address in the text box provided. Once the user away from his/her home the time will start recording and vice versa. The formulae we used are as follow:
"Latitude: " & Location.Latitude"Longitude: " & Location.Longitude
BingMaps.GetLocationByPoint(Location.Latitude, Location.Longitude).name
Navigate(Screen4)
BingMaps.GetMap("AerialWithLabels",15, Location.Latitude, Location.Longitude)
Timer1_1.Value <= (3600000)
In the last formula, we state that if the time recorded is less than 1 hour, we consider then as low risk(depending on the area)

Another we want to highlight on this app is this app provide 'tracker' to our users. This 'tracker' help to remind users to practice social distancing. This feature is functioning by sending the location of user to microsoft share point once the user press the tracking. After that, the user will receive the data from share point and the distance between two device will display on the screen.

We also provide information related to the latest Pandemic situation. This aid in helping public to consider any decision they made such as avoid unnecessary outing. By doing this, the flow of people will be decreased and the risk to get COVID-19 will be decreased simultaneously. To help individuals who worries about their health status, we also developed the feature to search for clinic nearby. Individual will be able to look for the nearest clinic to follow up their health status to prevent any further risk. If any individual get infected by COVID-19, they can also reach the nearest medical help to get earlier treatment followed by going to the hospital. "CovTrack” also allows users to check their real time location to see whether they are on the COVID-19 red zone. This helps the users to know their current situation and they can make spontaneous reaction to decrease their risk from being infected by COVID-19. For example, they can leave their current location as soon as possible when they know they are in the red zone. This is really important as public is getting less sensitive to the pandemic. Public see it as a normal phenomenon and willing to treat it casually instead of being serious. This is reflected on the duration that public spent outside, which is getting longer and longer. The public will also be acknowledged by the information provided to know how dead full is the COVID-19 and will be able to protect themselves and others. They will know and realise their responsibility to fight against the COVID-19. We hope that the pandemic will be eliminated in the future so everyone can return to their comfortable lifestyle.

To create this app, we use software such as Power Apps, Share point, Excel and Bing Maps API.
We use the dashboard provides by JHU CSSE (Center for systems science and engineering) to shows the COVID-19 cases all around the world. Through this dashboard, our users can get the information of the latest positive cases of COVID-19 and the death cases. This helps our users to gain the consciousness of the importance of taking precautionary steps to protect themselves against COVID-19 infection. Our team believes that this verified data can help to gain the confidence of our user when using "CovTrack".
We provide a pop-up window in our apps for this dashboard. The users can click on the “information” button as shown in the image below to show this function.

Our team discovers that it is important to take precautionary steps to fight against this pandemic. It inspired us to create an app that can always remind the public to follow the rules stated by the local government. "CovTrack" also enables the public to know how risky they are when they go out.
This is the first time for most of our teammates to involve themselves in a hackathon event. At first, we were all at a loss. We don’t even know what challenges we are going to choose and work on it. However, the desperation and confusion slowly disappeared when the workshop started to be organised one by one. In fact, we really appreciate those mentors who are willing to hold the workshop for the participants. Moreover, all the workshops are free to join and the recording would be provided for participants to refer back!
After several workshops, we do learn about video production, building apps with Microsoft Power Platform and some pieces of knowledge about space as well. The most important is we work as a team to solve this challenge together. Each of us plays a role to solve all the challenges we meet. Throughout this challenge, it definitely helps to train us to become problem solvers in the future as well as cultivate our team spirit in the future.
During this Covid-19 pandemic, peoples are live in fear and horror. Though students and parents are instructed to stay at home, yet the cases are still surging. As secondary school students in Malaysia, we hope we can make out our humble effort to do something to this Covid-19 pandemic.
We attend the workshops organised by the organiser every week. Throughout these workshops, definitely helps us to gain the ability to solve this challenge. We also read some articles from the official websites to learn and try to apply the formulae in our apps. When it comes to the challenges which are beyond our limits we will reach out to mentors to guide us.
On the way to producing our app, we do face a lot of challenges and some hard times. When we try to perform the tracking option in our app, there is a big difference in the distance between the one we calculated and the one in reality. It takes time for us to adjust the formula again and again. Besides, there are also several bugs we met while producing our app. What we can do is just modify and solve it through group discussion time after time. Interestingly, we enjoy the process of solving all these bugs and the challenges. The more bugs that we solve, the more confidence we have about our app.
We would like to say thanks to Mr. Kalvin, which is one of the mentors of this workshop. He does guide and answers our questions especially about the use of maps. We really appreciate his guidance. Last but not least we also want to express our gratefulness to the teams behind which have put in tons of effort to make this event happened.

This project has been submitted for consideration during the Judging process.
COVID-19 continues to be a global problem even though vaccination efforts are underway to control its propagation. Your challenge is to use environmental data and other information (such as epidemiological, social, policy, and economic data) to build a smartphone application that provides individualized, geolocated, COVID-19 risk warnings to guide social awareness, response, and health security.
