CIS( Covid-19 Informing System)

High-Level Project Summary

This program was developed for informing people to secure their lives from Covid-19. Our program aims to asks questions to the user and from the answers that user typed we predict if the person is infected from Covid-19 or not. If a throng of people is infected in the same area , that place will occur red in map (which means risky area).

Detailed Project Description


Our project is about the Covid-19 pandemic. We used "C++" coding language to develop our project. It asks the person few questions to predict if he is infected from Covid-19 or not. If the person is infected, our program wants his adress and express that this person should be quarantined.After that our application states that this person should get vaccinated and gives information about vaccination. In map that we think there are some colours which has symbols as risks of the areas. For instance green areas are safe places to visit. With that we can reduce the risk of other people getting infected and keep the pandemic in control.

In our project we think of using NASA's "https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/map#2/8.4/-60.1" and "https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/map.html" websites to locate and inform the users.

Hackathon Journey

It was great experience to us but we didn't have much time to think about our project(we only had 2 days to think) and it was our first time! We would like to participate in next year with more challenging project .
