High-Level Project Summary

First, there is a prior solution on that project that uses only a tracker of numbers of cases and deaths by using the database. I developed using this property and other properties such as some attractive methods that make the user follow the precautionary measures and keep his health good. Also, another strong advantage of this project is that it has the property to remind you to” wear the mask” when you go out by turn on your location. One positive aspect of the app when you will be in a crowded place, it will appear a notification "This place is dangerous, please stay away from here "

Detailed Project Description

The project work as a guide to avoiding the infection of COVID-19. and provide all the information about Coronavirus. The project is simple to use.

Activity one is the interface and after you click on the button start now it takes you to the second activity.

Activity two provides:

· Hotline

· Geolocated

· Symptoms

· Guidances

· Health Security

· Setting

· Number of cases

I handle each button of these to do a specific task or go to another activity.

At first, the hotline, when you click on that button, it turns you to your phone to make a call directly. It’s available all day and answers all questions as regard to coronavirus that number is 105. if the user is sick or feels any symptoms, he can contact them.

Next, the geolocated button, this button represents your location and the more near hospitals of you. it’s an important property because in emergency cases you will need to know the hospitals near you to attend if the ambulance didn’t come or was late.

After that, the symptoms button, this layout shows you the symptoms of Covid-19 with high quality. such as fever, cough, headache, shortness of breath, and sore throat.

Then, you have the guidances button. it presents you the mechanisms of avoiding the injuring with coronavirus. For example, outside the home, use a face mask, disinfect, keep a distance from others, and avoid touching eyes, nose, or mouth. Also, in the home, wash your hands frequently, and clean & disinfect.

Finally, the health security button. it tells you if the vaccine is available in your country or not. For example in Egypt, it is available and providing a link. This link is your vaccine’s sites in your country. After you click on that link, it will be open in google and provides all the information related to the vaccine and a form for register for vaccination.

Some properties I created in the application and others I’m working on it. The first five buttons have been done. The last two buttons are explained below.

It’s an argument in favor of using this app is having significant points. One good point is the app has an awesome design. The benefit of that project is containing all the information regarding coronavirus will be collected in one app and all the news will update continually. Also, if there are new warnings, they will exist on the app so, it’s a vital project. Furthermore, it saves your time when you search for a hospital near you and when you are in a new place.

I hope to succeed with this idea and I will develop the benefit of google service because there is a problem with API. I’m going to add a feature that reminds you to “wear the mask” when you go out by turn on the location. This feature is based on the location, and it will be created when I solve the problem of google service and get on support. Also, I will add a tracker contains the number of cases and death by using the database. in addition to that, I will add in the interface “country”. when you chose your country the app’s language will change depending on your country. Finally, the strong factor for using the app is when you will be in a crowded place will appear a notification "This place is dangerous, please stay away from here " by using artificial intelligence and calculate the number of mobiles around you with a specific distance. and this reduces the risk of covid-19.

In that project, I used the java language and building the app on the app android studio.
