High-Level Project Summary
We developed an app that calculates the risk of getting covid-19 and provides the necessary information about the virus. The app provides a map of the factors affecting the transmission of covid-19 which are air quality, population, and greenhouse. It also has a dashboard that provides the total cases all around the world. The other features of the app include providing the information on the dashboard with the location of countries and provide a map of which country has the most cases.

Detailed Project Description
We used React Native and JavaScript to build the app by fetching data from resources that NASA provided. It displays worldwide Coronavirus cases and cases based on location. It also displays information regarding the factors affecting Covid-19 transmission rate like air quality (air pollution), population and greenhouse. It benefits the people with all the necessary information about covid-19 when it comes to reducing risk. We hope to achieve developing this app globally to help fight our current burning issue which is covid-19.
Space Agency Data
The space agency data we used helped us conclude different factors affect the rate covid spreads. Like Air Quality, Population, and Green House Gases. with that information plus the number of cases, deaths, and recovered we were trying to calculate a percentage value of risk for each continent and country.
we used the data from EO dashboard and integrated different kind of maps, into our app, and it was clear to see the patterns in which covid was spreading high, due to those factors.
Hackathon Journey
Surely, the space app challenge was a new experience for all the members of our group. Thankfully, we all have a need to try new things and build an experience which was really helpful in overcoming our setbacks because we were already in a mental state to resolve any challenges. All of us had a job to do and we knew how to be committed to our tasks. Most of our problems came through while developing the app with react native considering all the bugs we thought we weren’t able to do none of it but our teamwork and energy helped us to fight through every setback we thought we wouldn’t be able to achieve. with this, we learnt, it is not about time or skills. It is all about ideas, dedication, teamwork, and passion to do a certain thing. Our team chose this challenge because it is a current issue that has affected millions of lives. Just as an example, this event wouldn't have been held online struggling with the network connection. That is just a glance, at how it affected this hackathon. we can't imagine the lives it destroyed. So we thought, we would contribute a little.
