High-Level Project Summary
Healthy Trip is a mobile app that provides critical data for COVID-19 spread and contagion warnings on a global scale, along with the safety measures required in each country in order to advise the safest destinations to visit.This solution aims to transform tourism around the world with a technological tool that, based on the data of COVID-19 infections, vaccination, and laws in different countries, provides personalized recommendations to tourists to plan a safe vacation in their favorite destinations and thus contribute to the recovery of the economy.

Detailed Project Description
We made a prototype for the Healthy Trip app on the proto.io platform, this app is responsible for sending alerts and keeping the user updated about the global problematic that we are living nowadays. Alerts such as infections and spreading of the itself, as well as prevention measures that are taken in each country. The aim of this app is to help improve the tourist economy of countries and to show users that there may be control over this pandemic.
The application has a feed that keeps the user up to date about everything that happens in the world in relation to COVID-19, it also has its own epidemiological map of the country or state in which it is located, as well as one in real time where it shows the places where you may be at risk of greater contagion due to large crowds or closed spaces, and finally a screen that presents certain recommendations and measures to avoid contagion and spread of the disease.
Space Agency Data
We used data from the Center for Systems Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and its GitHub repository the find direct sources for COVID-19 related data provided by health organizations and institutions around the world to determine the risks and the current situation in different countries.
And we were inspired to create a tool for travelers and tourist attractions, as the pandemic has affected most people psychologically due to lockdown and restrictions, travelling and related economic activities have decreased over the year, so a way to reactivate this sector is crucial.
Hackathon Journey
Our experience is a strengthening one, we learned different tools that are useful for our career. When choosing the challenge, we thought about the current situation and it led us to provide a solution to a specific problem about the impact of the economy by the pandemic. We'd like to thank our mentor for helping us select our sources and presenting some articles related to our challenge.
