High-Level Project Summary
ChatBot can be described as software that can chat with people using artificial intelligence. This software is used to perform tasks such as quickly responding to users, informing them, helping to purchase products, and providing better service to customers. Chatbots, if effectively designed and deployed, could help us by sharing up-to-date information quickly, encouraging desired health-impacting behaviors, and lessening the psychological damage caused by fear and isolation. Chatbots can extract patient information using simple questions about symptoms of any disease.

The pandemic has kept us on our toes for a year now. With the spread of COVID-19, the need for information about the virus has also increased rapidly. There are constantly new regulations and rules that can change daily and often differ from country to country . ChatBot can be described as software that can chat with people using artificial intelligence. This software is used to perform tasks such as quickly responding to users, informing them, helping to purchase products, and providing better service to customers. Chatbots are programs that mimic human conversation using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
It is designed to be the ultimate virtual assistant. Chatbots, if effectively designed and deployed, could help us by sharing up-to-date information quickly, encouraging desired health-impacting behaviors, and lessening the psychological damage caused by fear and isolation. Chatbots can extract patient information using simple questions about symptoms of any disease. Additionally, chatbots offer strong potential for curated information. The information can be customized to the needs and symptoms of the individual. Response to specific questions can be provided in an interactive manner, more rapidly than traditional online search methods. The information is also adaptable to local guidelines and regulations, based on the location of the user.
Many companies and organizations are leading the charge in deploying chatbots to provide COVID-19 information. The two most authoritative voices of the pandemic, WHO and CDC, have also included chatbots in their websites to provide up-to-date information to billions on the spread of the disease and its symptoms. Many governments are also launching chatbots to provide validated information to their citizens.
Anyone with access to the chatbots can do so from a range of devices (online computer, smartphone, or analog phone in some cases). Widespread adoption of chatbots for COVID-19 information can also reduce the burden on hospital call centers. The chatbots’ interactive symptom checking feature can potentially lower the volume of cases in urgent care and emergency care. The COVID-19 pandemic is an accelerator for chatbot technology, helping people around the world get more and more comfortable with leveraging this tool for healthcare. As we move beyond the pandemic, the adoption of chatbots in broader healthcare applications will continue to grow.

Hackathon Journey
It was very informative and gave us exposure to a lot of things. We gained knowledge of how to think of new logic in a particular situation from the space apps challenge. A large number of people's life was lost due to covid -19, which made us do this project. We would like to thank NASA for giving us this great opportunity, to showcase our ideas.
