Detecting the Corona virus in the patient at an early stage helps not to spread the virus and isolate the patient so that the infection does not pass from one person to another, but accurate diagnosis of the disease at its beginning requires a chest x-ray Therefore, they decided to make a smartphone application where artificial intelligence algorithms are used to clarify the results of the rays if the diagnosis is pneumonia or the Corona virus

The coronavirus pandemic is an ongoing global pandemic of the 2019 coronavirus disease. The outbreak first occurred in the Chinese city of Wuhan in early December 2019. The World Health Organization officially declared on January 30 that the virus outbreak constitutes a public health emergency of international concern, and confirmed The outbreak turned into a pandemic on March 11th.
More than 194 million COVID-19 cases and 4,170,000 deaths were reported in more than 188 countries and territories as of July 27, 2021, and the United States of America recorded 43,533,168 cases 30 days ago and 698,672 deaths just 30 days ago,

in addition to the recovery of more than one million injured .
The virus is transmitted primarily upon close contact between individuals, often through respiratory droplets and droplets resulting from coughing, sneezing or speaking. The droplets usually fall to the ground or to surfaces without traveling long distances through the air. In a less common context, individuals may become infected by touching the eyes, mouth, or nose after touching a surface contaminated with the virus.
Infection is highest within the first three days after symptoms appear, with asymptomatic patients potentially transmitting the disease prior to onset.
Common symptoms of the disease include [fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, and loss of smell and taste ]. The list of complications may include pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
The time between exposure to the virus and the onset of symptoms ranges from two to 14 days, with an average of five days.
The most important problem in treating the Corona virus is the detection of the virus at an early stage through a chest CT scan, where computerized tomography is used to diagnose and observe changes in the spongy inner lung tissue.
This type of change cannot be observed with plain X-rays and MRIs.
Chest CT scan is also an important tool in diagnosing patients with SARS-Covid-2 infection in light of the shortage of RT-PCR test kits.
The presence of a mobile application helps by using artificial intelligence algorithms to photograph and diagnose x-rays in the fastest time, so the presence of the virus on the lung is noticed from nowhere and helps to see what you cannot see with the naked eye.
Mobile application helps reduce the occurrence of errors of the human factor (doctors), as it reduces the number of doctors in hospitals, reduces the occurrence of errors and avoids overcrowding inside hospitals.
Artificial intelligence algorithms can be used to clarify the results of the x-rays if the diagnosis is pneumonia or the Corona virus, and also helps determine the duration of the patient’s isolation and determine the place of his isolation, either in the hospital or at home, and follow up on his condition continuously through questions that the patient answers on the mobile if the isolation is at home He is followed up by a specialist doctor.

Having such a great issue like this absolutely need to be solved with high adjustable technologies, the first thought that would come into your head is Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, yes of course using AI and ML together will empower the functionality and create comprehensive result, our team start to code an user interface using Flutter as a technology to build modern and cross platform compatibility just as a green light to clarify the idea and we will discuss all the functionality and behavior of the application but first we would like to report that this is not a full app and not a final UI/UX it is just a simple UI to illustrate our solution.
The app or you should name it as example (covid19 x-ray checker) we tend to use smooth and easy user interface to make the user switch between the app section easily this is considers one of our aims but the major factor and the main aim is implementing AI to the Application that will give the superpower functionality of checking and examining the x-ray of a patient (user) confirming whether he/she is infected with covid19 or not, Let's see what we have coded as a proposal to the committee.
As we mentioned before this is not a full app so there is a lot of work in the interface is has not finished yet.
The first screen we have is login screen, we intend to make login easier with just phone number verification; SMS 6 numbers of digits, but this is under reconsideration we could use social media login info in the future

The app is split into four sections:


the first and major section is coronavirus scan, and this is what’s our app is all about

After implementing the AI & ML to this section the user will be Routing (Transferred) into another page- will be created Later, the user will have to pass a Quiz with Coronavirus symptoms and Pneumonia symptoms with random arrangement and check the boxes if the symptom is applied to him/her at the end of the quiz the user will be asked to upload the x-ray scan, and here the magic begins our AI Algorithm will decide whether the user is infected or not. Of course, you have a question in your head right now. you may ask How can this be accomplished? or how can I certain that I will get the accurate result? Well this is a great question and here is the answer: it is simply when users upload their X-Ray Scans the app collected all of these data and store it in a queue then the machine learning playing the most important role by comparing all of these data with a standard X-Rays Scans one with Pneumonia and another with COVID19 and see the congruence between the coming data and the standard data and give you a final result applied to your case not only this Algorithm will depend on the standards scans of course not, machine learning role is to improve the performance and enhances the result as we know ML makes the machine-the app in this case-thinks like a human so the more data will be collected from the app users the more accuracy will be the result, of course using previous data will help the app to compare all of the scans with each other’s and getting the appropriate diagnose (APP will be a great chest doctor).

Hospitals page: to reserve a scan date if the user feels any Covid19 symptoms he could contact available hospitals

this virus early before it takes control on the lungs ... It happens when you feel one of Symptoms of the disease as fever, cough, headache, pain in the body,
missing smell or taste or shortness of breath. you must take COVID-19 precautionary measures, isolate yourself from people, consult your doctor and in dangerous
cases you must go to the nearest hospital. so ... what is COVID-19 precautionary measures??
- Wash hands well with soap for 20 seconds.
- Wearing medical mask and gloves all the time out of the home and get rid of it once going back to home.
- keeping a safe space between you and any other person, a meter and a half at least.
- Using medical alcohol out of the home.
- If you feel mild fatigue, it will be better if you still at home.
what's the damage of COVID-19 infection??

All of the previous problems results of COVID-19 infection so ; you must take COVID-19 precautionary measures to protect yourself and your family from
infection - It is a very fast diffusion virus - and when you feel mild fatigue you must consult your doctor - best from home - and take some medicine like zinc,
vitamin c and Painkillers. you must eat healthy food that Rich in nutrients and stay alone on your room.
For sure early detection of the virus reduce from other side effects and damage of it after recovery.

We have benefited a lot from dealing with NASA and we inspired by all of the challenges.
From this we learned :
- how to delve into a problem
- how to try to overcome it
- how to avid its risks
We also learned that we are responsible for knowing the problems of the world we live in.
We specifically chose the challenge ( COVID 19) because it is a modern problem facing the whole world.
So we decided to make an actual application that helps the patient discover the disease early, which reduces the risk of the disease, We will develop the application more ,
and we want to thank the assistants for their constant willingness to answer our questions and clarify all that is ambiguous
