High-Level Project Summary
Our mobile application “Stay safe” aims to Guide social awareness, response and health security through providing: 1) individualized and geolocated infection risks for COVID-19, through the tracking risk alarms feature. 2) the nearest available hospitals for the close contact people with COVID-19 or that provide vaccines and immunizations. Furthermore, “Stay safe” makes it easy to access all the protective equipment needed for the standard precautions in their normal price from the ministry of health preventing the price-discriminating monopoly. Finally, it shows some COVID-19 statistics in order to ensure that people realize how dangerous the situation is.

Detailed Project Description
How we addressed this challenge
Our vision
"Stay Safe" is designed to help people keeping up with the recent COVID-19 pandemic, through making people able to avoid the close contact cases with COVID-19, visualize the propagation of the virus, access the precaution needed equipment in their normal prices from the ministry of health, have the instructions from the ministry of health to ensure keeping healthy according to the case, know the closest places providing vaccines knowing their different types, and finally contacting the nearest hospital for emergencies.

"Stay Safe" starts with the sign in/sign up page where the user should input his/her name, email, password, phone number, national id for signing up and only the national id and password for signing in.
Then, the application operates through the provided data and starts the home page where there are three icons at the bottom of the page (status, notifications, vaccine) and an icon on the top left for opening a list where the user see his name and photo on the top, another icons and a button (Statistics, protective gear, About us, settings, sign out, emergency).

Graphic user interface (GUI)
By pressing on "status" , the interface shows the user's information and there will be three colors for the background in this page. If the background color is red, then the user is a confirmed case, if the color is yellow, then the user is a close contact case with COVID-19 (which will be indicated through tracking the user) where you should immediately contact the nearest hospital to get tested for coronavirus, and the green color indicates that the user is clear.

By pressing on "notification" , the user sees all the alarms for approaching from close contact cases along the day (where the alarm will make a special sound so that user knows when approaching from close contact cases with COVID-19), for needing specific type of food according to the health case or even for entering an area with high infection risk

By pressing on "vaccine", the screen shows the type of vaccine that the user took and the date of taking the vaccine and if the user did not take any vaccine, it would be accessible for him to see all the near hospitals that provide vaccines.

From the menu bar,
By pressing on "statistics", the screen shows the local and global statistics of: the number of confirmed cases this day, the overall number of confirmed cases, the number of recoveries this day, the overall number of total recoveries, the number of deaths this day, the overall number of deaths and the number of the close contact cases in the neighborhood or country (which will be made through the GPS tracking).
By pressing on "protective gear", the interface shows the nearest hospitals or e-pharmacies providing the needed equipment for the COVID-19 precautions and determining the prices of each equipment from the ministry of health (to prevent the price monopoly).
By pressing on "about us", the vision and the mission of "Ultras of FCI" appear and the user will access the contacts of the application developers for any complaints or suggestions.
By pressing on "settings", the screen will give the user the ability to change the language between Arabic and English. Also, the user will be able to enable a dark mode if he wants.
By pressing on "sign out" , the application returns to the sign in page.
By pressing on the red button "emergency call" , the phone will call the nearest available hospital for emergencies.
How we developed this application
This project was coded on android studio, using the dart programming language on the flutter platform.

Space Agency Data
We used this resource as a database for our statistics
o JHU COVID-19 Dashboard—Center for systems science and engineering at JHU
We used this website to track the vaccine doses and know the different types of vaccines
We used this website to know the population growths and urban congestion estimates; to use them while determining the risk of infection.
o NASA-SEDAC (Socioeconomic data and applications center)
This website inspired us in visualizing the statistics
o NASA-SEDAC—Current COVID-19 data
These resources helps in determining if there will be COVID-19 propagation dependency on climate change or different geological places
Hackathon Journey
It will never be possible to know from which experience exactly to start describing our space apps journey!
In the first place, making new friends from the team members which are from different governorates among Egypt and knowing each other much more than before was the best of all, where the common thing between the team members was the innovative entrepreneurship thinking to let our application applicable through the governments.
Secondly, the team-working and tasks management contributed to let everyone know how to benefit from his skills and develop these skills. So, the journey helped in developing our personalities.
Thirdly, the space apps journey introduced new concepts for us while searching through the possible challenges, where we were determined to choose the most effective challenge. As the team wanted to see the most challenge that represent a problem that need and immediate response and this was our first reason to choose the COVID-19 challenge.
Finally, the unforgettable offers from a plenty of the hugest authorities was one of the most interesting things all over the Space Apps journey.
