High-Level Project Summary
Our main objective is to show where there are positive tested people for SARS-CoV-2 in each city and the percentages of the possibility of risks that a person has in a public environment of contracting the disease. Our project solves the challenge because for the development of our application we need to use epidemiological, social and environmental data.

Detailed Project Description
The project is a way to combat COVID-19 through an application, recounting research on the environment, society, among others. For this, information is gathered that may serve as a reference for users of the application in question that, developed by us, allows them to become aware of several factors that influence the spread of the virus (vaccination, mask use, climate, etc.)
It is an interesting way, besides being integrated with the technology of today's world, to become aware of the pandemic that began in 2020, safely and cautiously. Taking these motivations into consideration, data directly linked to the subject were used and, consequently, calculations for information as close as possible to the reality of the planet. Thus, there is the hope that the tool will have an effect in the cases of COVID-19 in various locations.
Space Agency Data
- Percentage of how many people go in public spaces;
- Percentage of how many people wear masks in public:
- Expectation of how many people will be in these places on some special date (holidays, weekends);
- Percentage of vaccines available/already applied in the population of each place;
- Climate in these spaces (winds and how do they act in relation to the transmission of the disease);
- Places with higher occurrence of COVID-19 (address of each person);
- Each country's health system = The USA, in line with the free-market-virtue mindset, is served by a mix of publicly and privately funded programs and healthcare systems.
- What are the symptoms of the disease.
Hackathon Journey
Our experience with the Space Apps challenge was different from what we're used to, but significant in a variety of areas. In addition to expanding our knowledge of the current situation of coronavirus, a current theme (main reason of our choice), we learn more about teamwork and the operation of applications such as the project.
We took as a basis the concern that the disease caused around the world and then came the idea of creating something to anticipate this, reducing the feeling of apprehension when attending certain spaces. Even with some eventualities, such as schedules, for example, we were able to clarify our doubts with the team or even through the site itself. Anyway, we would like to thank those who shared the idea of joining the project.
