High-Level Project Summary
Our challenge was to gather evidence and measure how earth observation is valuable for the people and the environment. There are many ways that EO data can be valuable, and we chose to research how earth observation can be valuable in the fight against Wildfires. "Why Wildfires?" you may ask. Wildfires affect both the people and the environment massively. Also, wildfires can lead to other concerning matters such as air, ground and water pollution. So, we identified that wildfire monitoring is indeed a field where Earth observation plays a major role. Since wildfires are a type of disaster that regularly occurs, people need to understand how technology is being used to control them.

Detailed Project Description
As mentioned in the challenge description, we gathered articles, reports and reviews related to how Earth observation is being used and how it affects the outcome of the scenario. We discovered and documented how EO data can be used and how currently being used in the fight against wildfires with articles and reports from several real-world events.
Finally taking another step further, we addressed some issues related to current technologies which are being used to monitor wildfires with possible solutions that according to our knowledge can be implemented.

Hackathon Journey
This was our whole teams' first-ever hackathon experience. We gained so much knowledge and experience. Really enjoyed the journey as a team. There surely are some mistakes and short-fallings. However, with these newly gained experiences and knowledge, we surely will participate in the next year as well with much more confidence.
