First Woman follows the story of Commander Callista 'Callie' Rodriguez as she makes her journey as the first woman astronaut to land on the moon and subsequently, Mars!

Callie makes her way to the NASA Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft where all parameters are set and normal for take-off.

The moon appears in sight as she nears the lunar orbit. Soon, her dream of becoming the first woman, and woman of colour to land on the moon will take shape. Callie is taken to the lunar orbit via the Orion spacecraft. When she lands, she wears her new exploration extravehicular mobility unit (xEMU) spacesuit and explores the lunar surface for about a week.

After exploring the lunar surface, Callie takes the Orion again all the way to the red planet, Mars.

(Sorry, I'm not much good at drawing and animation. If anyone can help with the animation, that would be great)

Team - excellent work ! things are taking shape nicely

The two of us will work on-

• Gravity of the moon
• Gravity of Mars
• how this will affect our lander
• how much thrust does a rocket need

and other factors that need to be taken into account.

• I am having some challenges working with this storyboard program I just found but let me just send you some notes I have so far. Just tell me what you think before I proceed.

1)First Woman follows the story of Commander Callista 'Callie' Rodriguez as she makes her journey as the first woman to land on the moon.

2) Callie prepares for take-off in the lunar habitat by first having a salad with her trusty and rather sassy robot, RT, by her side.

3)She finishes her meal and begins donning her spacesuit as her colleague, Dan Patel joins her.

4) They both head out to the lunar surface together with RT to inspect the spectrometer at the Auggie-24 site. Battery levels and temperature seem to be normal.

5) On their way to their destination, RT feels bored and insists Callie tells the story of how he came to be.

6) She begins with the origin of her passionate dream to be an astronaut.

7) We cut to years ago when Callie was just a baby with her mother and father.

8) We see images of young Callie dressed up as Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space, for halloween.

9) We see Callie as Valentina Tereshokva and a cardboard robot which resembles RT, going trick-or-treating.

Mono is writing the code for the retro rocket and designing the circuit board

Brett is updating the Firmware on the arduino board of the rocket

So far the NASA FirstWoman Story has painted a positive in my mind about the endless possibilities of space exploration for young women and girls. How you look like on the outside does not matter and does not stand in your way of achieving greatness. Personally, this is inspiring to me.

Callie’s determination and ambition was not at all dimmed by her immediate family, particularly her father, who was a major source of motivation for her when it came to choosing her future career as an astronaut. One who would land on the Moon and Mars!
