High-Level Project Summary
We developed this game to access more information about Mars and to teach people this information effectively. STORYAs a result of the discovery of the important ore in the content of an asteroid expected to fall on Mars, NASA starts the CERES operation and assigns one of its astronauts, Tania.Tania begins researching the surface. While searching for asteroid particles, it also observes Mount Olympus, the largest volcano in the Solar system, and Marineris, the largest Valley. While collecting the astroid particles, Tania observes the effects of the ore in the particles on the Martian surface, collects the pieces, brings them to the shuttle and completes her mission.

Detailed Project Description
NASA Space Applications was kind of the beginning of our journey for us. Our aim is to learn, apply and teach what we have learned on this journey to reach the secret of the universe. Space is indeed something that people should know and be interested in. We are aware of the importance of the effect of productions such as plays and movies on the narrative of the space. For this purpose and the purpose of the competition, we have decided to participate in the Planetary Lander Video Game Challenge to get to know and promote Mars. In this game called "OPERATION:CERES", we wanted to arouse curiosity about Asteroids, not content with Mars. We developed our game with the Unreal Engine game engine and used the Blueprint software language.
Space Agency Data
In our project, NASA's articles about Mars and its details and space missions became our main resource. In addition, we used NASA not only in terms of information, but also in the sounds we use in our game. The sounds recorded by NASA on Mars added a special atmosphere to our game. Speaking of the source, one of the features that this competition added to us was to do research and evaluate the results. Valles Marineris: The Grand Canyon of Mars
The largest canyon in the Solar System cuts a wide swath across the face of Mars. Named Valles Marineris, the grand valley extends over 3,000 kilometers long, spans as much as 600 kilometers across, and delves as much as 8 kilometers deep. By comparison, the Earth's Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA is 800 kilometers long and 30 kilometers across.

Hackathon Journey
NASA Space Apps Competition was our start in terms of making a product for space travel. Our purpose in this journey was to reach the secret of the Universe, as we stated in our motto. And with the Challenge we participated in, we understood the importance of space travel and the importance of telling people about space and journeys. People like this kind of games etc. With productions, they can learn more effectively about space, Mars and other structures and simulate the space experience. Our inspiration and driving force was basically to discover the creation and perfection of the universe. We aim to become the spacemen of the future by improving ourselves in this journey of discovery that we started with NASA SpaceApps. Although we are 2 people compared to other teams, we have developed our project by successfully distributing the tasks. We overcame the problems we faced by supporting each other. In addition, we would like to thank NASA Space Apps officials who helped us in this process and our English teacher Ayşenur Aktaş, who helped us participate in the project.
