Our team has developed a Moon landing simulator for that challenge. The solution for the challenge is to educate the player for Moon gravity, surface and the dynamics of using a space module. It is important to be familiar with that arguments when approaching the Moon.
The game is a Moon landing simulator. You have to land your space capsule safely on a pre-defined area on the Moon surface. After you navigate and succeed landing, you need to switch to FPS mode to collect three samples located in three different points and accomplish the misson by take off.
The game platform is simulating the Moon gravity (1,62 m/sn²) and surface and teaching the player how to navigate a space craft without crashing it. The space craft is 3D model of Apollo Lunar Module and downloaded from NASA 3D repository. It's weight is 15103 kg.
The game is developed by Unity and compiled for PC.

It is an inspiring and challenging experience. As a team we need to think and act fast in both finding an idea and creating it.
Researching a defined subject in a limited time was stressed and after finding the idea, creating the game was full of fun when you know how to do it. At the end of development, finding out that WebGL is not suitable for such a 3D game was also another stressed issue until we fixed it by uploading it to Googe Drive as an executable version.
We experience and like team work on online platforms like Discord and Zoom.

This project has been submitted for consideration during the Judging process.
NASA’s near-term space exploration plans include returning to the Moon and future plans include landing a crew on Mars. Your challenge is to create an inspiring and educational video game or interactive 3D model to simulate a landing on the Moon or Mars!
