edible and versatile material

High-Level Project Summary

the project in general is an edible material that can be formed and shaped as ordered this material is safe for fish to eat and get benefits from it and it has incredibly wide applications, this material can be shaped as packaging boxes any plastic stuff (cups, tubes,....) and It will also save the effort and energy spent during the recycling process while being healthy for the biodiversity, wherever you are you possibly saw some thrown wastes on the sea surface these wastes can lead to water pollution or even worse some fish may eat them which can lead to their death, so by applying the project in many places we can save them, keep our water clean and reduce the amount of dying food chains.

Detailed Project Description

the material is extracted from wheat and rice or anything that doesn't cost a lot of money and fish like it can be produced by going through several stages of manufacturing then it can be shaped as ordered anything that you use in your day or anything that you can arbitrary see floating on the sea surface maybe something like ( cups, boxes, packaging, tissue holders anything ), this is going to be incredibly effective as it will save the effort put in the recycling process from collecting the wastes to plug it into machines and recycle it and it will save the fish as many fish eat these wastes thinking that they are edible which can lead to their death, so my project hope to maintain the clean biodiversity which we live in as its healthily material easily replicated and recyclable , and another aspect that you can think of the project from is you can save some fish species by applying the same project with a few modifications like in the case with phytoplankton and menhaden as The world’s oceans provide us with the seafood that fills our plates and tempts our taste buds: tuna, salmon, lobster, scallops. All of this sea life is part of a complex food web that can support an abundant and diverse range of plants and animals, and one type of these sea lives is the phytoplankton which balances its environment providing it with organic carbon extracted from CO2 However, the abundance of phytoplankton appears to be shrinking. Ocean biologist and satellite data enthusiast Jeffrey Polovina said, “We saw that the low-productivity area of the west Pacific was expanding, and we wondered if it was unique or if it was happening globally.” and this occurs because of many reasons one of them which can be solved by the project am working on is the types of fishes which feeds on phytoplankton reducing their abundance in this area and examples of these kinds are ( Capelin, Menhaden, Gizzard Shad ), so if we add some of the food types that menhaden fish like this may provide life for some phytoplankton, I developed may project idea as an animation on adobe after effect the link is mentioned above and finally the best place for my project to be applied is in The Mediterranean it is one of the world’s 25 hot spots for biodiversity. Its highly diverse marine ecosystem hosts around 4 to 18% of the world’s marine biodiversity, The region enclosing the Mediterranean Sea encompasses portions of three continents: Europe and its southern peninsulas to the north, southwestern Asia to the east, and the Maghreb region of northern Africa to the south. Overall, it is a densely populated region with an intricate political history involving many different ethnic groups and it hosts around 20 countries which can lead to water pollution.

Space Agency Data

at the first, i will list the sources that I used then I will mention the connection between some of them and my project.

If co2 emission continued the occurrent rate and global warming excessed 2 degrees over the next 100 years, one of the largest populations in the world king penguin is likely to become extinct due to starvation.

Hackathon Journey

generally, it was a good experience with its long hours of searching collecting data organizing them, and many other things but it also was incredibly decent as while I was going through all of this I had fun I was excited every time I find new information that is connected to another one that feeling of Passion and curiosity as I always wanted to know what is the next step what can I reach or get to as I spend more and more hours of searching I learned a lot had fun had a huge amount of information about my to decent experience that I will be proud of, I literally searched every word whether on earth data or on NASA's youtube channel sometimes I had to start again from the beginning but I can easily say it is totally worth it and of course I will return back next year to recall this good memory and at the end, I want to thank my gorgeous mom as she is my only supporter.
