High-Level Project Summary
Our project is to raise public awareness about the temperature of the earth's surface. With the help of a reliable source of data including NASA satellite and AIR IoT(for collecting crowdsource data), we will detect and deep learn the scenarios to alert the people in advance. All the necessary information like warnings and solutions of air pollution, crop damage, temperature, and deforestation rate will be visible in an app to make it readily simple. We can't reduce carbon dioxide easily if we want to but we may reduce the rate of carbon dioxide by dropping the seed balls in the deforested areas using UAV.

Detailed Project Description
Problem:
The earth is ticking like a time bomb due to excess heat.
According to scientists, Every second of every day we pump the equivalent of five Hiroshima-sized nuclear bombs worth of heat into the atmosphere.
Even the one bomb dropped on Hiroshima caused around 135,000 casualties. We have released the heat of nearly 3 billion nuclear bombs over the past 20 years!
Global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and trees are flowering sooner.
WHO says climate change is expected to cause approximately 250 000 additional deaths per year between 2030 and 2050.
Globally, the number of reported weather-related natural disasters has more than tripled since the 1960s. Every year, these disasters result in over 60 000 deaths, mainly in developing countries.
Is it any wonder that we are beginning to suffer the consequences of our actions?
Yes!
We are already suffering from these.
Solution & Impact:
We're taking a variety of ways to solve this problem. Our objective is to raise public awareness about the temperature of the earth's surface. We're working on an app that will utilize Nasa satellite data and our unique IoT device, Air IoT, to collect real-time temperature readings and predict the temperature of the earth's surface using supervised machine learning and deep learning.
When the temperature rises, chemical reactions between primary air pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (emitted by engines) and oxygen occur, resulting in the formation of ozone and air pollution. Forest fires will become more common as the temperature rises, causing more agricultural damage. We can provide agricultural damage, air pollution, and forest fire warnings via the mobile app based on the heat forecast data. The app shows the rate of temperature rise in accordance with the date, as well as warnings for specific locations based on the condition. The app further depicts, based on the heat map, global air pollution rising-rate according to the date as well as a set alert warning based on the condition. The app also displays the rate of global air pollution growing over time, as well as triggering alerting warnings dependent on the situation. The app further depicts the rate of global crop damage over time, as well as triggering alerting warnings about food shortages depending on the situation. This will encourage people to plant trees and contribute to the lowering of global temperatures.
Earth's surface temperature is quickly rising, and it is now impossible to totally reduce it. As a result, we may rapidly cut carbon dioxide emissions, resulting in a gradual increase in global temperature. We are utilizing a customized unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to reduce the earth's surface temperature by dropping seed balls into deforested areas at a rapid rate, increasing the rate of forestation.
Technical plan:
To build this application we use NASA’s datasets, different types of algorithms & tools.
will use esp32 based IoT devices for crowdsourcing data collection.
The UAV is built with the latest technology like GPS tracking, image processing, and various mechanical technologies. Our R&D team is continuously working to integrate some customized software that will help to give some automatic analysis for crowdsourcing data.
Hardware:
Air IoT:Air IoT is an ESP32 based IoT device for collecting real-time crowdsourcing data. We use these sensors in our device: Temperature Sensor, Air Humidity Sensor, Light Sensor, C02 Detector, "PM1.0, PM2.5, and PM10.0 Particle detector".
We are using HTTP Post Request to send real-time data from Air IoT.
We are using IoT Server iotsnackbox.io to store data.
UAV: Our UAV's name is "Green Source". we use this UAV to reduce the earth's surface temperature by dropping seed balls into deforested areas at a rapid rate, increasing the rate of forestation. It is specially designed for dropping seed balls. To build this UAV we are using "pixhawk flight controller", M8N GPS, 8CH Transmitter & Receiver.
Output of this project :
In this project, we will solve Six major problems:
- People's awareness is raised by providing them with earth surface temperature fluctuations alerts in advance.
- Air pollution warning
- Crop damage warning
- Our deforestation rate will be minimized.
- Aquatic and ground biodiversity will be protected.
- The effect of carbon dioxide will be minimized.

Hackathon Journey
For the third time, I participating in NASA Space Apps Challenge.
2018 - Champion.
2019 - Champion and Runners up. (Global Nominee)
In 2017 I was trying to take part in the NASA Space Apps Challenge. But at the time I had no team to take part in the NASA Space Apps Challenge, I also missed the deadline for creating my project.
In 2018 some judges talked to me that we can form a team for NASA space then we form a team and participate in NASA Space Apps Challenge 2018. Then we became champions from Comilla. I didn’t get a chance to compete globally.
In 2019 I & some of my college friends make 2 teams & we got champion & Runners up, and Global Nominee also. But we could not get any place into global.
In 2021 I am participating with the university's seniors & I hope this time I will take place in Global. In-Sha-Allah
