High-Level Project Summary
Our team aims to create an application that aims to make people alert themselves to global warming. For this, we will bring in the application, based on location, the time it takes for the tide to advance to the place where the person lives. Thus, through notifications on the mobile phone, the person would create this awareness of trying to reduce practices they make that porentialize the melting of hubcaps by global warming.

Detailed Project Description
Wavy is a popular app for smartphones that has the objective of warning people, in a accessible way, the status of the tides in a specific location, showing it’s causes, projections and consequences, measuring what can happen according to the tide. That way, those who have the app will be able to have a better ideia of the causes that lead to this phenomenon. The App will use informations from that regions Marine Force, along with satelites’ data, linking how the tide from specific locations can be in a few years and the causes of that. The app can be used by everyone, from a regular citizen to environmental authorities, being able to fight the causes and avoid tragic consequences to happen. Wavy Will be available for all smartphone systems. It will work according to the user’s interaction, informjng their location and, from that point, more Informations will be available, including projections about the tide, causes, continuous alterations and possible consequences.
Space Agency Data
To support our research, we used data from NASA satellites to track images of the earth, as well as marine data to understand the movement of the seas.
Hackathon Journey
The Space App experience has been very innovative for our group, because they made us research a lot about global warming. We have learned many practices that make us reduce our practices that enhance global warming. The reason for choosing this theme was that one of the members has always been interested in the theme and proposed to the group how small attitudes on a daily basis can transform the world in a way. Our approach was made so that we went looking for pain that a city that borders the sea may have as a warning of global warming. To solve the setbacks, we did a lot of research and asked Professor Isabel whom I would like to thank for Hackaton's journey.
