High-Level Project Summary
The motivation is saving sea turtles, whose extincts are affected by temperature. (Sea turtles' sexuality are dominated by temperature. E.g., over 31 degrees celsius, turtles will become almost female.)Global warming will arise temperature. Reduce carbon elimination can slow down it.We have two innovation ideas, saving whales and forests.Through protected whales and forests, it can reduce almost 200M tons of carbon.Poseidon can send fire forests notification mails before they burned, and find best locations for reservoirs.(Reservoirs can not only extinguishing but also keep place wet)Poseidon can point out routes of whales swimming, to avoid accidental injury by ships.

Detailed Project Description
+Our tool provides 3 functions:
- Find a suitable reservoir location. (Currently just show one basin. In the future we will use contour map to find nearest basins to settle.)
- Alarm when over threshold temperature ( We send e-mails, which is sent immediately )
- Plot whales areas(and tell rough amount), and plot a whale swimming path. ( In the future we will plot several paths around the world. )
+Benefits:
- Once we save a forest or even a whale, we reduce many tons of carbons/CO2.
- Reservoirs can not only extinguishing but also keep place wet.
- Our tool provide whale routes, whale routes can earn money( whale watching tour ).
- Pay low cost( our brain ), mails are free.
+Goal:
Use Poseidon to reduce carbons/CO2 -> slow down global warming -> save sea turtles (avoid them to be all female turtles). And not only sea turtles but also other species like crocodiles and tortoise will be saved.
+Our Future Goal:
Hope we can collaborate with marine experts, help to protect more marine animals.
Due to precious big data collected by NASA satellites, we can almost detect climate changes and send notification mails in-time.
