Climate change poses risks to everyone's health. Based on this, we have developed an application where the user has the possibility to share information regarding data on temperature, air humidity, comorbidities and evolution of your health in relation to climate change. They may also be reported fires, droughts and other problems with regard to global warming. Based on satellite data from space agencies, the platform will inform weather data that can be updated based on information shared by the community. With this the user will have a personalized experience with respect to their quality of life.
In recent years we are experiencing a reality of constantly increasing the effects of global warming. According to the report by The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) the average temperature of the planet tends to increase by 1.5 ºC in the next two decades. In addition, in 2012 the extent of the Arctic Sea reached the lowest level ever recorded.
The main sources of greenhouse gas emissions are the burning of fossil fuels, forest deforestation and even the production of beef in deforested areas, activities linked to human predatory action.
In this context, the lack of real-time information regarding climate change in a given region, added to the fact that the population does not adopt habits that reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This reveals the need to spread such information in a more simplified and playful way, without losing, of course, efficiency.
Global warming causes 37% of heat-related deaths worldwide, one of the leading climate-related causes of death. This worsening reflects on quality of life and human health, so as to also be an indirect cause of increased risk of respiratory diseases, skin cancer, cataracts, cardiovascular diseases, heatstroke, food borne diseases, mental health and insect-borne diseases.
Age of Change is a mobile application with an interdisciplinary interface that offers, from multiple perspectives, in an informative and interactive way, a personalized experience for users about the potential impacts of global warming on the health and quality of life of the individual.

The platform allows the visualization of the areas most affected by this climatic phenomenon through maps and the location of the user, based on variations in air temperature and humidity (collected from space agencies) and number of people affected by a certain disease, allowing such current scenarios to be compared with previous scenarios and future projections, which enables understanding of global warming as an ongoing process.

The user will start their experience through registration, informing personal data such as name, gender, age, and comorbidities. In addition, there will be a mutual contribution between the individual and the community, mutually beneficial relationship, in order to enrich the application database, making it more complete and up-to-date, interactively and back feed. This will be possible with the notification, by adding data on, for example, forest fires, air pollution, temperature variations and atmospheric humidity. In addition, it is also possible to report pathological symptoms, which suggest a direct implication on health.
The application has been intuitively designed for any user, thus increasing their reach in general. It is important that the solution has ways of social and economic insertion. Based on this and because it is a mobile application it was designed to be easily scalable. That said, here we present the business model of Age of Change, where people who care about their quality of life can receive reports and warnings about the climate around them and how it is affecting their health. Companies that value the well-being of the environment will be able to sponsor the application thus gaining more visibility of their consumer market. In addition, users receive points by sharing their information and acting in favor of their health and environmental preservation, which they can use to receive discounts and benefits when purchasing products and services from the application's partner companies.

The platform aims for a system of rewards for the user, through a progressive score that brings benefits by the notifications sent. These will be provided by green and eco-friendly shops and businesses, associated with the platform.
Finally, aiming at data policy and the rules of the general data protection law, the user will have the participatory autonomy to choose the information that will be shared by the platform.
-Use of Adobe XD platform for mockups design;
-Use of the Canvas Business model tool;
-Use of G-Suite for organizing ideas.
With the increase in the use of the platform by a larger number of users from different regions of the world, we will obtain information that will be used by an artificial intelligence (trained based on the data collected so far) that will make predictions of the effects of climate change on people's health in the coming years. It will be possible to form comparative scenarios of the past, present and future, allowing understanding of global warming with an ongoing process that tends to intensify over time. Thus, we will raise awareness of the world's population about the dangers of heating to the health of each individual and provide a better quality of life for everyone.

Our app uses the data provided by local agencies that have weather stations (in Brazil, the National Institute of Space Research - INPE) together with data provided by Aqua Earth-Observing Satellite Mission and databases provided by the North American Land Data Assimilation System (NASA - NLDAS) and the Global Land Data Assimilation System (NASA - GLDAS) to ensure with this crossing of data a greater accuracy of the application's information that can still be updated based on information sharing by the user.
The experience of participating in the challenge was enriching. Our team is very interested and dedicated. Our goal of choosing this challenge was to approach and demonstrate the impact of global warming directly on the health of the individual. Thus promoting a society more aware of risks, intuitively, through the use of personalized information.

This project has been submitted for consideration during the Judging process.
Climate change is expected to exacerbate heat-related extremes that impact human health and environmental and ecological systems. Your challenge is to build a tool that uses Earth Observations (EO), crowdsourced data, and models to provide warnings about potential impacts of these events, along with guidance on mitigation measures.
