We have developed a new innovative product - ecological filter with zeolite.The filter absorbs the CO2 exhaust of the car and thus reduces the ambient temperature.The filter is inserted on the exhaust of the car itself.CO2 as one of the greenhouse gases contributes to global warming.Using the filter allows cooling of the planet Earth. We also made a prototype using this method

Detailed Project Description
● Location for realization of the experimental part:Auto service Korrado-village Bosilovo
Location to perform calculations for the project: Our school
● Zeolite is a natural material (mineral and non-metal)
● It has a crystal lattice - structure of a beehive in the shape of a tetrahedron which is a molecular sieve for cation exchange
● Clinoptilolite zeolites have a negative charge of 160 anions - an open network of channels or nanopores and they has a huge surface area
● It is environmentally friendly absorbent molecular sponge for all types of water, air, soil and radioactive contaminants
● When purifying the air, the gases are absorbed, so that selectively increasing the concentration of the components of the gas mixture (adsorbate CO2) they remain on the surface of the solid substrate (adsorbent zeolite).
● Main hypothesis: Lower exhaust temperature car emissions will reduce the harmful influence of CO2 into the atmosphere.
● Dependent hypotheses:
● Lower car exhaust temperatures will reduce the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere.
● The ecological filter will reduce the temperature of the exhaust gases in the atmosphere.
● Required material :
-3 infrared lamp;
- pipettes;
-erlenmeyer;
- 3 plastic containers of 15 liters;
- 3 thermometers;
- distilled water 21 liters;
- 1 car;
- 3 pieces of sheet metal;
- humane soil 18 liters;
- 3 liquid rubber 50cm;
- 2m rubber hose with 60mm diameter;
-tape measure;
- valve mm;
- coupling.
SCIENTIFIC JUSTICE
The substance zeolite has exceptional properties for air purification;
Its absorption properties are applied which reduces the harmful effect of CO₂;
The proposed hypotheses are based on experimental results, tabular representations obtained by mathematical application.
SOCIAL JUSTICE
● By using the ecological filter, a spectrum of positive influences is obtained;
● The outcome of this project is the application of the environmental filter mostly in the automotive industry;
● It is implemented in Eco standards.
How this innovative solution can attract attention
● First we will educate more children in schools by handing out our flyers and how over the phone they could measure concentration of CO2
● Тheir parents will also be notified because the filter is sold in pharmacies and costs very little.
● Then we will move to a larger number of people in the city and in the surrounding areas and even at the state level through social networks and media.
● Аnd the expected result would be raising awareness among people by 10-15%

The challenge is accepted so we can be heard and also to hear new innovative challenges. The NASA's challenge gives us the opportunity to come up with new ideas and solutions as well as meet people with new ideas and follow up with the problems and come up with solutions for planet Earth. Observing the data from NASA's sources about the quantity of carbon dioxide released in the atmosphere during in the last decade Carbon dioxide (CO2) is an important heat-trapping (greenhouse) gas, which is released through human activities such as deforestation and burning fossil fuels, as well as natural processes such as respiration and volcanic eruptions.
Hackathon Journey
By the end of the process we have been fully supported and given the best advices by our mentors.Throughout the process we had complete help from the consultant team.We've learned that there aren't any limits in the science field and the we learn more thorough our lifetime.

The usage of the filter allows cooling of the planet Earth. The Covid pandemic caught us unprepared and gave us a wide spectrum of questions, questions that require thinking and searching for an answer for the questions associated with global climate change and the causes of it. With the development of the zeolite filter and it's realistic use , the percentage of CO2 concentration has been lowered.we are grateful for NASA'S challenge call. The number of organisations who have interests in there types of problems is quite small.
