Easy Learning: Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)

High-Level Project Summary

As videos made with science-teaching in mind may often be too difficult for children, our goal is to narrate science and technology in a way appealing to young people. There are a lot of technologies and/or science that impact our daily lives, however as we take their contributions for granted, it's easy for us to overlook its importance. One example is the Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), the main topic of this animated clip. With our fine animating and interactive-based approach, we aim to bring such knowledge to the mass public while expecting to achieve good feedback regardless of the audience's age, and hopefully arise their curiosity about space-related science and their applications.

Detailed Project Description

Our clip is made by Animaker (https://www.animaker.com/) and aims to appeal to a wide range of audience, educating people on space knowledge. We hope that our approach on explaining the science of SAR, utilizing the use of animation techniques and maximizing interactions could be widely accepted and arise people's curiosity regarding related topics.

Hackathon Journey

Our Space Apps experience could be described as fruitful and we learned a lot about teamwork. We chose this challenge because as we engineering students remain interest in such science, we found most people not liking such subjects, thus this is what we've decided on. We hope that we could make science easy for everyone and make most people interested.

We thank the organizers for conducting such an event and made us feel comfortable at all times.
