High-Level Project Summary

Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) has recently been increasingly in demand due to its advantage of being able to observe a desired point regardless of day or night and weather conditions. Raw data observed with SAR satellitesrequire preprocessing such as satellite orbit correction, radiation correction,multi-looking, and geocoding. This requires additional processing.These preprocessing and computational processes are very complex and require a lot of time and computing resources. Institutions that mainly useSAR images have developed and provided analysis tools suitable for each institution's purpose of use in order to process images conveniently and easily.

Detailed Project Description

This research project examines a set of the functions and characteristics

of representative SAR analysis tools . We explain SAR technology and simplify its

family of powerful techniques .

SAR technology offers many advantages that traditional EO sensors can’t provide. In fact, high resolution imagery is just one of many derived products that can be produced from SAR data processing .

This research is based on a set of informations from different sources, such as our personal experience in this field.

In addition to our studies at the university . So , We have divised the tasks between us to facilitate this challenge and collect diverse informations .

Although we worked hard to collect all this informations , we benefited a lot from searching on this topic .

We hope to be among the winners to dive into the heart of the topic and work on its implementation .

It was such a wonderful experience to work with a space agency . Although the time was limited , we worked hard to achieve our objectives and earn your admiration .
