High-Level Project Summary
The product we have developed helps people in daily life and official affairs. According to this year, the most important of them is forest fires. Forest fires have caused us a lot of damage this year.SAR systems are a very good solution to more precisely pinpoint where these fires are likely to break out. We explained what it was, its importance and how it was used. Then we gave them a program base that they could use in daily life.

Detailed Project Description
Our project was to develop an application that people can use both in their daily life and in their official work. Its name is SARNET. Thanks to this application, we can prevent forest fires that have affected most of the world this year.This is due to the forest tracking features of SAR systems. (Information in our video.)Thus, we can identify the places where forest fires are likely to occur and take precautions there.Or it can be used for irrigation of agricultural areas. For example, depending on the humidity of the fields from the satellite, the couple stops unnecessary water use and focuses on a place where it irrigates less.This saves us a great deal of water. At the same time, our farmers save a lot of time.
Space Agency Data
We looked the European Space Agency’s Sentinel-1 satellites, Canadian Space Agency’s Radarsat Constellation Mission, and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA) Advanced Land Observing Satellite-2 (ALOS-2).We choosed with different website which is in the references.Our goal is teaching this topiv very detaily and raising awareness to the community.
Hackathon Journey
It was fascinating, we learnt how to work with our team. We have chosen our subject because we thought that this idea would change the industry if it happened. We tried to raise awareness about this subject. We solved our problems on our own. We would like to thank all our teachers who supported us.
