Eyes of the world

High-Level Project Summary

The Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) is far different as it provides finer spatial resolution than conventional stationary radars. We want to give a very simple explanation on what the SAR is, how it works and what are the positive impacts of it output data on the earth and the humanity. In our videos we will thus try to democratize that technology and helps people to knowing more about it.

Detailed Project Description

The project is about knowledge sharing. We provide in a short video a simple explanation on the synthetic aperture radar technology

used by spaces agencies around the world.

We show how it works, helps in preventing and solving problems through its output data that are free of usage.

Our aim is to help people know how important the research and the technology could help improving the human live.

Space Agency Data

Using the Illustrations and all the projects description provided by the multimedia ressources from the NASA ,

we could have a better illustration on how the technology works and for wish concret case the data could be useful.

The earthdata.nasa.gov website also provides a really good documentation on what the importants terms like remote-sensing or SAR are.

Hackathon Journey

We learned a lot from all the conferences and also from the others teams presentations. Also we learned how to make a good presentation, to work in team, to work on finding a solution (in our case how to explain a technology in a simple way to the world) within a limited time.

There are many challenges that, when solved, could helps to make the world better. We try to explain those technologies to the world because one of the most important aim of the technology is to improve the human live conditions. We are very thankful to the NASA and all the others spacials organizations who works every days to provide humans a better live. That was the most important experience in our team.

We also thank the organization team of Kaiserlautern for having given us the opportunity to participate to this well organized challenge.
