The all-seeing radar

High-Level Project Summary

A video was developed explaining what the synthetic aperture radar consists of, how it works, how they used it and what will be the future that awaits them, so that people who do not have any knowledge, are informed. For the explanation of the video, we tried to use terms that people can understand or get an idea, with illustrative images and animated videos. The material used was obtained from the resources that they provided us, with the occasional edition. This challenge has the mission that people can understand what is happening in the world and what things await us, therefore, it is vital to keep people informed and thus be prepared for any emergency.

Detailed Project Description

The project contains a detailed explanation on basic definitions, operation and applications of the synthetic aperture radar.

We show application examples of real life through animations, didactic and simple graphics

We explain the basic definitions of operation and define the future that this technology will have

We hope to explain and disseminate SAR technology with its capabilities to a non-expert public and demonstrate how the measurements can have a positive impact on your community.

We use the following multimedia editing programs: Adobe Iustrator , Sony Vegas, Photoshop and filmora

All images, icons and illustrations we use were taken from Pixabay. (non-copyrighted material)

Space Agency Data

For the theoretical introduction of the video, we use as reference information from EARHT DATA and the official page of applied sciences of NASA.

For the explanation of the operation of the SAR radar we use information from the official website of the National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA).

And finally, for the applications part, we rely on data from NASA's applied sciences page and on NASA's CHALLENGE Space app resources page.

Hackathon Journey

Participating in the Space App is a whole new experience, in which you learn new things that you do not expect to learn, you also learn to work in a team and meet new people, what inspired the team to choose this challenge was to learn more about it. synthetic aperture radar, and thanks to this challenge, we came to understand many things about it, we had setbacks at the time of recording and in time, but everything was overcome with great interest and group contribution, we would appreciate all the collaborators of these challenges, for give the opportunity for anyone in the world to compete. Thanks.
