High-Level Project Summary
In this project the team explains to non-professional, meaning non-technical people, what is synthetic aperture radar, how it works, where it is used and what benefits will we have when using it. The aim is that anyone walking at the street could understand what is synthetic aperture radar in a big picture and also understand how that can help us.

Detailed Project Description
This project work is most of all a communication task. The aim is bring very specific information to so low level that anyone can understand it and there is no need to be an expert of the field.
The project is a video explaining what is synthetic aperture radar and especially how it can help our communities.
The project result is a simply story telling video created in PowerPoint. It includes images and texts and but no sound.
Space Agency Data
I don“t want to go to global judging!
I used several internet sources to get familiar with the topic

Hackathon Journey
This was very challenging task since the whole topic was new to me. First I needed to understand that in a big picture and then also I needed to use time to familiarize what non-expert would like to know. I interviewed some non-professional people to get the understanding of that.
I am not any expert in the field of creating videos or communication materials so it was challenging too. And I have my personal reasons why I could not do the voice-over for the video, nor I wanted my voice be heard. I am happy I found out a way I could do this. But doing this all by myself I had no team mate to help me so I had to accept that I am not able to do everything like I was dreaming.
I learned my self a lot about Synthetic Aperture Radar and all the possibilities it can offer to us. I started to think how the database could help me at my work in an engineering agency, so i will deep dive to data later on and talk with my boss and team mates.
I want to thank myself - doing this independently and learning so much new things - from professional perspective but also from communication perspective. I have to say that I did not expect the hackathon to be like this, but I am glad I have made it through.
